Explore Jayson’s professional experience, highlighting his interdisciplinary work in urban planning, public policy, and government relations.

My work spans urban planning, public policy, and political strategy, with a focus on clarity, feasibility, and long-term impact. What follows are selected engagements that reflect how I work and what I prioritize.

Urbanism and environmental planning

I have worked on comprehensive planning, sectoral studies, and institutional planning initiatives, with particular attention to land use, environmental risks, governance and institutional structures, and development constraints.

My work emphasizes science-based coherence between plans, regulations, institutions, and capacity so that documents do not remain aspirational artifacts but become tools for decision-making.

I also taught and lectured on urban and metropolitan governance, transportation planning systems, and urban studies, as well published thought-pieces on such topics to contribute to learning and development of future planners and public servants.

My policy work involves analysis, coordination, and strategic advisory, often in settings where technical soundness must be balanced with political and institutional feasibility.

This includes policy research, drafting, stakeholder coordination, and support for monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) frameworks. The objective is always the same: evidence-based policies that are grounded on political realities to make them enforceable.

Further, my approach to project management is to align best practices with the lived experience of all relevant stakeholders to ensure that projects are feasible and implementable.

Public policy and project management

Government relations and political management

Let’s work together!

I have extensive experience in government relations, political communications, and campaign strategy, working with national and local actors. My work in this space draws on practical field experience and strategic political analysis, including stakeholder and political mapping, competitive intelligence, as well as coalition-building and narrative framing.

I maintain professional networks across government and the private sector, enabling informed engagement with policy processes and regulatory environments.

If you need more than technical solutions, i.e., perspective, foresight, and strategy that connects the dots, I can help.
