Urbanism and environmental planning

  • Teaches an undergraduate class on urban and metropolitan governance at the University of the Philippines.

  • Collaborated with different teams in formulating comprehensive land use plans, zoning ordinances, and comprehensive development plans of the different local government units.

  • Elected as a trustee and National President of the accredited professional organization of environmental planners.

  • Extensive knowledge in preparing land use plans and feasibility studies, processing of economic zone applications, and planning for economic and institutional sectors.

  • Occasionally contributed thought pieces on urbanism, transportation planning, and environmental planning to major publications.

Public policy, project management, and government relations

  • Managed the city’s distribution of the social amelioration program during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Supervised the preparation of the city’s digitalization project.

  • Led the technical study, consultations, and drafting of Executive Order No. 64, Series of 2018 (Mindanao Barter Council).

  • Built and cultivated a network of allies in Congress and in the economic cluster of the Executive Branch during an eight-year tour of duty in the National Government.

  • Designed and implemented campaign plans and governance platforms for different national and local candidates since 2010.
